Disco Ball Ice Cream Party! - LAURA'S little PARTY

Disco Ball Ice Cream Party!

July 21, 2016

I love disco balls! Like.... a lot! I love to incorporate them whenever I can. Over the past couple years, I would collect disco balls whenever + wherever I spotted them. I even added them to my Christmas tree, which is why I have such a huge collection of different sized disco balls!

While on Pinterest, I recently spotted a darling Sparkle-Filled Disco Ice Cream social! Genius, right?! They used disco balls in the cutest of ways, and I knew I wanted to do the same!

I received some darling striped ice cream cups from the Bakers Party Shop, and knew instantly that they would pair perfectly with my disco ball collection!

I don't work with pastels or lighter colors in my parties too often, but I will say that I had a lot of fun working with these sweet colors & pastel rainbow stripes - and of course, the disco balls!

I spray painted my bubble gum machine and used it as my Disco Ball Ice Cream Party centerpiece.
Inside I filled it with shimmery disco balls, rock candy, and delicious macarons from Nicole of Bella's Bakery

I ordered the perfect tissue tassel from My Paper Crush, and attached a few mini disco balls to it. I hung it over my party table to add a little festive & sparkly touch!

I covered my party table in a roll of pink paper and attached a plastic fringe around the bottom - both from Shindigz!

I added pastel rainbow striped plates, polka dotted napkins, striped ice cream spoons from the Bakers Party Shop, mini party hats, and the most darling Disco Ball drinking cups, from Packed Party

Sweet treats were also made out to look like Disco balls! I asked Maddi from The Sweet Talk Bake Shoppe if she could create a disco ball cookie for me - and she did! I loved how they turned out, and I made them into disco ice cream sandwiches!

I filled the cookies with vanilla ice cream, and then dipped the sides in sweet sprinkles, from the Baker Party Shop!

I even added some sprinkles to the side of my treat pail! They really added a pop of sweetness.

I had fun creating a party with two of my favorite things: ice cream, and disco balls! They both made my Summer a little sweeter.
