New Year's Eve Flamingle| Simple Party Ideas!

December 30, 2016

It's time to ring in the new year! Are you hitting the town? Staying home? We're staying home this year while hubby and I tackle a huge project - my home office! That will be for another post, coming early 2017 *excited squeal

I love entertaining! Mostly because I love to decorate for a party. And with my extensive supply of party decor and paper goods, it's very easy to just throw something together. Add in some darling printables from Swish Printables, and you'll be ready to party in no time!

It's no secret that I heart styling parties with flamingos. Maybe you remember seeing my Let's Flamingle Luau? When I found some sweet flamingo ornaments at Walmart, I plucked every last one from the shelves! I had every intention of decorating one of my Christmas trees with them, however, I had already filled my house with decorated trees (you can see my Fiesta themed tree here) and time was running out. So, I used the flamingo ornaments for the next best thing: A New Year's Eve tree! It turned out so FUN!

I added party horns, martini glasses, disco balls, party crackers, and a banner from Swish Printables!

I brought out my bar cart and went to town. I hung a Cheers banner, and set out a jar filled with party horns and photo props.

I always jump at the chance to use my super shiny disco cups, from Packed Party! They paired perfectly with my 'Cheers to 2017' sign!

Donna also created some darling cupcake toppers! They can be used for cupcakes, tags, you name it. I added them to my popcorn boxes from The Bakers Party Shop

You can set up a quick party-scape that will get your friends to gather for laughs and drinks! I found some pretty black fabric in downtown L.A. that looked perfect against my pink martini glasses, disco balls, and paper dishes.

Yep! Disposable dishes are seriously a party staple, (and an Aguirre household staple since my boys love to create dishes for me!) Chinet was so gracious in sending over some of their square dinner plates - I just knew they would be perfect for my Flamingle!

If you look closely, you'll see that I created a little design on the outer rim of the plates. A simple brush of my black Sharpie marker had these plain white plates looking festive!

Cheers to the New Year! I hope 2017 fills you with hope, love, and many blessings! I'll be seeing you next year!
