Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer | Party Ideas
December 04, 2017
Christmas will be here before we know it! Are you ready?! I love the hustle & bustle of the holiday season, and especially look forward to all the little family traditions that we enjoy every year. One of our favorite things to do is watch Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. It's a family favorite!
My two younger boys (7 and 4) love to watch Rudolph over & over again. They watch the movie all year long! I used to love it as a child, and I'm so happy they enjoy it as much as I did.
I couldn't help but think that throwing a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer party would be a great way to help kick off the holiday season! We created this party for Shindigz a couple years ago - you can see the original post here! Shindigz Rudolph party
For each place setting, I went with some darling Rudolph dinner plates. I also used coordinating green dot beverage napkins, and red stamped wooden cutlery.
I love to mix fun patterns when putting my party tables together. I thought everything looked so festive, sitting on top of a red polka dot table cover.
The Rudolph cups finished off each place setting. I added some green polka dotted straws for a little pop of fun!
Just Add Glitter By Marla hand painted a festive Mason jar for us! I just love using them for holding our paper straws.
Sweet cupcakes are a party must. Add some coordinating Rudolph cupcake wrappers, and your treats are sure to be a hit! You can even personalize the wrappers with your very own holiday message.
Bumble is one of our favorite characters from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! He's a misunderstood abominable snowman that happens to suffer from a toothache. This Bumble cardboard standee was the perfect addition to our party.
I found some plastic teeth holders on Amazon, and thought they would be a fun touch to our party table. I filled each of them with gummy candies, and added a little "bumble's bad tooth" sign. The party guests got a big chuckle out of the large teeth!
I love to send each party guest home with a favor box. I fill them with candies, and small toys. I displayed light blue gable boxes on top of a cake stand. I created a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer label and added it to the front of each box. Then, I attached a Bumble candy lollipop that I found at Dollar Tree.
I couldn't pass up these fun Santa beard suckers, from Target. They also double as a mask! These could also make a fun photo booth prop, don't you think?
I also picked up notebooks, and coloring books from Target's Dollar Spot. These were perfect party favors to send home with our party guests!
Speaking of noses, no Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer party would be complete without red noses. Am I right?! Each guest proudly wore a foam clown nose, to help get into the Rudolph spirit.
I also added a cute Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer plush toy, from Lowes.
If you plan on putting together your own Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer party, don't forget to grab this Rudolph sign! It's big, and bright, and definitely set the tone for our party.
I hope our party will help put you in the holiday spirit, and give you ideas on how to enjoy your own family traditions during this holiday season!
Be sure to check out Shindigz for all your Rudolph party needs! They've added new products!
