How to celebrate going back to school - LAURA'S little PARTY

How to celebrate going back to school

August 18, 2018

We'll be back in school soon and I love to put together a back to school party every year. I feel it gets the kids excited, and gives them one last hurrah before hitting the books!

To create a fun back to school party table, I started by covering my table with a black and white striped table cover. I added black paper for the backdrop, added a large apple standee, and ordered a personalized school banner.

I set out some cardboard crayons, and painted styrofoam numbers in primary colors. Fun lanterns with grad caps, and black gable boxes with 'back to school' personalized stickers were set out on the table.

Mini metal buckets were filled with boxed crayons, and displayed on a cake stand. Water color paint sets and small neon chalkboards were set out as party favors for all the guests to take home after the party!

Parties are always better with sweet treats! Our friends over at Bella's Bakery & Bowtique created some darling back to school themed cake pops that we displayed inside of a painted mason jar from Just Add Glitter By Marla

Don't forget to add a festive back to school photo prop, like this fun school bus standee! Your party guests will have a great time pretending to ride inside of the school bus.

Happy Back To School!!
