Spring Break boredom buster: Easter painting party!

April 06, 2023

Throw an Easter party that gets kids creative! It's easy to do when you enlist the help of DecoArt for Social Artworking! My kids are always up for a party when painting is involved.

This post was sponsored by DecoArt, for Social Artworking. LAURA'S little PARTY has received payment, and/or products, in exchange for party inspiration and fun ideas. As always, all opinions are 100% our own.

I created a simple black and white party that popped with simple decor, sweet treats and lots of fun! I painted the wooden easels black and added a festive balloon garland. I whipped up a party banner with card stock, vinyl and my Cricut Maker, from Cricut. I even decorated a plain table runner to coordinate with our party's decor. Once the guests arrived, we were ready to get creative!

You can order all your supplies over on the Social Artworking website - they make it very easy for you to get creative and invite friends over. You pick your design and they help you with the rest!

Let your guests' creative juices flow by providing everything they need to get creative and have fun! Set out all the supplies in an easy-to-grab tiered stand. Let them choose their paint colors, brushes, paint tray and have some fresh water handy, to rinse their brushes.

One thing you have to do is trace the image onto your canvas. I like to have the canvas already traced and ready to go for my guests.

Provide some sweet treats to nibble on while your guests create their art pieces! I like to set out easy, finger snacks like: popcorn, cupcakes and even mini donuts.

It's always a great time to gather friends over, but its even better when you mix fun with art and tasty treats! Be sure to check out our friends over at Social Artworking for DecoArt!
