Spooky Treats with Hershey's Ready to Eat Pudding | Tutorial + FREE Printables

September 22, 2015

With Halloween quickly filling up the store aisles, it's just about time to start getting creative with some spooky snack ideas! I'm always looking for fun ways to present food to my children. How about you? You definitely need to create these fun Spider pudding cups for your hungry goblins! Or, you can add some creepy signs inside the pudding cups! These spooky-fun treats are so easy using Hershey's Ready to Eat Pudding!

Whether it be an after-school snack that they can grab themselves, or something fun we can recreate together, Hershey's Ready to Eat Pudding is the perfect snack to have on hand! Moms want to give their children premium, high-quality snacks. I love that I can head down to my local Walmart, and pick up a couple packs. They come in two flavors: Chocolate, and s'mores!

Hershey's Pudding is rich, creamy, and made with real Hershey's cocoa. I sampled some while I was putting together this spooky spider, and let me tell you, it tasted exactly like a chilled Hershey chocolate bar!

Are you ready to see how I put together some spooky-fun snacks, using Hereshey's Ready to Eat Pudding Cups? Let's go!

Here are the supplies I used for my snack(s):

Hershey's Ready to Eat Pudding (chocolate & S'mores flavor)
4 Black licorice twists {spider legs}
Edible Candy Eyes
Paper Straws
Double stick tape
Cardstock printable signs

To make the spooky Spider cups, start by taking your Hershey's Ready to Eat Pudding, and open the foil lid.

Next, you need to take your 4 black licorice twists, and tear them down the center. These will make 8 wiggly spider legs.

Insert spider legs into your pudding cup.

4 spider legs, and this guy is already starting to look creepy!

Once you've added all 8 legs, it's time to add some googly eyes!

The edible candy eyes are perfect for such a snack, don't you think? I know my little guys are going to go crazy over this!

And here is your spooky spider! So easy, right?

For my s'mores flavored pudding cups, I added a few spooky signs. I created some printables that had fun quotes. You can download your printable set, here

Now let's get started on the other treats!

First, you'll need to print out your printable set, and cut them out. I used a square scalloped paper punch, but you can use anything from a circle, to just cutting out the word bubble itself.

I cut my paper straws in half. Otherwise, they were a bit too long for my pudding cup.

Add some double stick tape to the back of your printable, and attach your paper straw.

Here are the spooky signs, ready to get dropped into the cups!

Add the sign to your cup, and display for your hungry ghouls!
