Hipster Santa gives back with Coca-Cola| One Warm Coat® + FREE printable set

As we start planning for our Holiday gatherings, and festive parties with family and friends, its a great time to reflect on how fortunate we are. Whether it's a toy drive at our church, or a canned food collection in my city, my family and I take extra notice in giving back to those that are less fortunate.
I was so happy to hear that Coca-Cola is currently working with One Warm Coat®! They're on a charity mission to provide one warm coat to half a million people this holiday season. To raise awareness for this wonderful project, I gathered some friends to tell them about the non-profit organization, and think of ways we could help out our community! We created a chain of love with written messages on how to give back and #LayerOnLove this holiday season!
It's "hip" to give back! And the easiest way to raise awareness is to make it fun & memorable. I created a Hipster Santa theme for my holiday gathering and incorporated fun hipster elements into my party decor, as my friends and I created a paper charity chain!
Do you remember making paper chains when you were younger? Creating this chain was really easy, and it brought out some great conversation around our craft table!
To make this festive Hipster themed paper chain, just print out the digital paper from my Hipster Santa printable set for Coca-Cola. Pour some delicious + refreshing Coca-Cola from Walmart, turn up the Christmas tunes, and start linking!
Cut your sheets of paper into 1" strips. I printed my paper onto cardstock - it's a bit more sturdy and gives your chain a little more support.
On the strips of black paper, I hand wrote messages of ways to help out and give back this season. For example: Read a book to an elderly person, and start your own coat drive with One Warm Coat®. You can get creative and brainstorm on all the different ways you can help out.
Continue to link all the pieces of paper until the chain is the desired length. You can use it as part of your holiday decor and even as a quick reminder to help out in some way this season!
I'm including all the printables you see in my post, as a FREE download. You can easily print out the digital papers and cut strips to make your very own paper charity chain. I'm also including 3 Hipster themed banners, straw flags, and a couple table signs to set out for your own "hip" party!
Hang your chain on your Christmas tree. Use it as a centerpiece to your holiday tablescape. Have the family create a long chain of how to help out this season, and cut off one strip every day! You'll be making awesome memories, and helping out someone in need.
