Ever since I can remember, I have always loved gingerbread houses! I don't remember really decorating any until I was older, but I do remember trying to eat all the stale candy off of my Grandma's gingerbread house, as a child. (oh my!)

Fast forward to today, and you can find gingerbread houses in all shapes, sizes, and themes! Have you hosted a gingerbread house decorating party before? I'm sharing my ideas for putting together an oh-so-cozy one!

I started by picking out a theme. You can go fancy, or low-key! I went with a traditional Christmas feel by incorporating plaid, a little greenery, and sweet woodsy elements. I found the prettiest table cover and napkin set from HomeGoods. I also found the most darling Kate Spade dishes that went perfectly with my party's decor!

I also added small decor pieces to my table set up. Target has such cute Christmas decorations this year, don't you think? I grabbed a couple nutcrackers, and cute little cabins.

Set out ready-to-decorate gingerbread houses for each of your guests! I absolutely adore the disposable compartment trays from Chinet! They are so versatile and very sturdy. I set out candies and icing and topped each tray with a gingerbread house.

If you're like me during a party, you love to graze! I enjoy nibbling as I mingle and thought my guests would enjoy their very own mini snack board. I added cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, nuts, and some tasty peppermint bark squares!

I also served up some holiday sips that were super easy to create! And look how refreshing and festive they look inside Chinet's Cut Crystal Cups. Add a candy cane, and sip sip hooray!

Gather your friends and host a simple + festive gingerbread house decorating party your guests will love! Make it a new tradition and create wonderful memories over the holiday season!
