Halloween is one of my favorite times of year! I look forward to getting started on decorating the house as soon as possible! While I love decorating every room in the house, I make our living room decor and front porch the main focal points during the Halloween season.

Do you decorate your living room for Halloween? Do you like spooky decor? Maybe you gravitate towards vintage? Maybe a little of both? I'll share a few fun DIY projects that you may even want to incorporate into your own Halloween decor.

With a variety of Mars candies, and Walmart, I'm sharing my spooky-fun ideas for decorating your living room for Halloween. Click on the image below to start your Halloween candy shopping!

For the past couple of years, I've been creating a Halloween Christmas tree in my living room. It's so fun to put together, and I get so many compliments on it! I tend to be drawn towards vintage Halloween decor, and this black Christmas tree from Walmart is the perfect piece to add all my vintage decor to.

The fun thing about decorating a Halloween Christmas tree, is that there is no right or wrong way to do it! I find that they're easy to do. The bigger the decor pieces, the better!

Start with an empty tree. I like to start from the top and work my way down. First, I started with a small wooden sign.

From here, I start to add small and large pieces of Halloween themed decor. I like to add signs, plastic skulls, and even garlands and paper fans. Just start filling in empty spots on the tree and pretty soon you'll have a fabulous Halloween tree!

Show your walls some festive Halloween love with easy-to-create wall art. I found some traditional Halloween images, cut them out onto black card stock, and put them in a frame. Super easy to do, and adds so much to plain walls!

Once I found the images I wanted to use for my Halloween artwork, I cut them out with my cutting machine, attached the cut image to white card stock, and added the piece to a black frame.

Decorating your couch for Halloween is easy with themed pillows. You can purchase them or create your own pillows to fit your unique decorating style! Personally, I like to mix and match store bought with creating my own.

I created a few designs and loved how they turned out. Bright green eyes, a coffin, and a simple "Boo" made for some spooky-fun pillow designs for my couch. I easily created them with iron-on vinyl, my cutting machine, and some plain pillow covers and inserts.

Halloween decor can be as simple or festive as you like. Add some decorated pumpkins and a headless horseman to an end table.

Do you have a basket of blankets on display near your fireplace? Throw in a spooky skeleton throw for fun!

Get creative by displaying SKITTLES® Candy and STARBURST® Fruit Chews Variety inside of themed bowls! How about the Witch bag Chocolate Variety Mix Stand-up Pouch featuring 240 pieces of chocolate - add the pieces to a spooky carriage, a skeleton bowl, and other festive candy holders.

Make your coffee table and living room decor the center of attention with a variety of Mars candies from Walmart!

Happy Halloween!
