Bring New York to your 2020 NYE celebration! - LAURA'S little PARTY

Bring New York to your 2020 NYE celebration!

December 23, 2019

For years I have watched and celebrated with everyone on TV during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Do you remember that show?! Every year I looked forward to watching all the happy people in the streets of New York, anxiously waiting for the ball to drop!

I haven't visited New York yet, but I definitely tried to bring NYC to my NYE party! Looking for some New Year's Eve party inspiration? I've got some fun ideas for ya!

I certainly love me some Kate Spade! No NY party setting would be complete without some pretty Kate Spade dishes. I topped each plate with a stylish napkin that was finished off with a mini disco ball and a taxi cab printable! They coordinated great with our big Taxi cab standee from Shindigz!

New Year's celebrations call for disco balls and lots of confetti! For pops of color, sprinkle colored confetti all over your table. Add Statue of Liberty party hats from Paging Super Mom, party horns, disco balls of all sizes, and make sure to drink out of them!

Can we just talk about this fabulous NYC skyline backdrop?! I am completely in love with it! I was contacted by the lovely people over at PaperRamma recently. Together we worked on designing a NYC skyline backdrop that looked sketched. The entire process was so easy, the customer service was amazing, and shipping was super fast! Their backdrops are beautiful, and made of a durable fabric that lays really nicely. My favorite feature: you can order the backdrop with or without a pole pocket - genius! Definitely check them out.

Confection Deception has the BEST fake cakes! I use a lot of them in my parties, and this New York themed cake is just to die for. This cake was my inspiration for creating a NYC themed party!

New York themed parties call for New York style food! Have your guests create their own street dogs. Grill bacon wrapped hot dogs, and set out all sorts of fresh & delicious toppings!

How will you be celebrating New Year's Eve this year?! Hope our party sparked up some fun ideas for your next bash!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
