Spring into Easter| Easter Party Ideas
March 02, 2016I love Spring, and everything that comes along with it! Easter holds such fond memories growing up, and I was reminded of how much I looked forward to this season, as I was putting together a small Spring into Easter party!
Although I really enjoy the pretty pastel colors of Easter & Spring, I like to throw in other colors that aren't so traditional to a Spring time spread. For this particular party, I chose blue, gray, and pops of brown tones!
This party was first inspired by the sweet felt bunnies I found in the Target Dollar Spot. There were 6 bunnies - three colors of each: blue, white, and gray. The gray bunnies reminded me of galvanized pails, and that led me to add all those elements together in this party.
I hand punched holes to make a bunny banner. I strung them on blue tulle, and added them to a tree branch. I also added gray paper tassels.
Once I got this party theme into my head, I went looking around in my party stash for all sorts of fun stuff. I found a couple galvanized items that I've been wanting to use. And I also found the cutest metal beverage dispenser from Walmart.
To continue with pops of brown, like the tree branch I used to hold the bunny banner above the table, I sprayed some old tree stumps with Rustoleum protective enamel spray, in leather brown. {see our Hallow's Eve inspired Party post to see the other time I used these tree stumps!}
For our Spring into Easter party treats, I set out plain donuts, caramel popcorn in mini snack cups, and also inside little brown paper bags, chocolate cupcakes, and a delicious caramel cake!
Happy Spring! And wishing all of you a sweet Easter too!
